Friday, 9th September 2016: Under the leadership of Tainan City Mayor (William) Ching-de Lai, Tainan has committed to become a low carbon city and has taken action to reach this goal by constructing green buildings, solar and hydro-electric power projects and redeveloping an area of the city into Taiwan’s first low carbon model community.

 

The Tainan City Government to exchange ideas and best practices on government policies and new technologies aimed at speeding up the transition to a low carbon society and boosting economic development at the same time. Stakeholders from industry, government, research institutes and NGOs will have participated and recommended strategies to reduce carbon emissions and increase the use of renewable energy.

 

FBS was live there to talk to all parties involved, exchange ideas and build new relationships.
